Faculty Compensation Committee
The Faculty Compensation Committee is made up of seven faculty members and one adjunct faculty member. In addition, the Provost (or the Provost’s designee) is a non-voting ex officio member.
The committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending changes as needed to College Policies concerning faculty and adjunct faculty compensation. The committee also conducts or recommends faculty salary and/or compensation studies and reports the results to the faculty, recommending measures taken in response to findings of said studies. The committee advises the administration concerning the development and implementation of any special compensation enhancement program, and monitors the effects of such programs. The committee also recommends modifications as necessary in the implementation of long-term programs, and reports to the faculty the results of such programs. An additional responsibility is reviewing and recommending adjustments as needed to College policies concerning salary increases for the awarding of tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review ratings of "superior."
